Dear Friend in Christ,
Your Iraqi brothers and sisters in Christ continue to suffer. And they need your help.
Christmas is right around the corner and should be a time of joy and hope for all Christians. But the persecution of Iraqi Christians continues. And COVID-19 infections continue to rise in the region — prompting lockdowns and the need for additional medical care and mental health care initiatives for refugees already under tremendous stress.
While much of the world is ignoring the plight of Iraqi Christians, I know you still care about our brothers and sisters struggling to survive.
That’s why I’m praying you will continue providing hope, help, and healing to Iraq’s suffering Christian community on GivingTuesday, December 1, with your most generous gift of $25, $50, $100, $500, or more if you’re able.
These Christians are still trying to rebuild and put their lives back together in the wake of ISIS’s campaign of terror and genocide.
The number of displaced persons and refugees in Iraq remains frighteningly high. And the Iraqis who fled their homeland for the neighboring country of Jordan face severe government restrictions — including not being able to legally work and create income for their families.
What’s more, much of the humanitarian aid promised by foreign governments still isn’t being used to help Christians.
Yes, Susan, I will help you provide urgently-needed aid this GivingTuesday to suffering Iraqi Christians, persecuted by ISIS and sectarian violence.
