Iraqi and Syrian Christians Are Desperate for Food

You’re the answer to their prayers!

Dear Friend in Christ,

Even with the turmoil of the coronavirus outbreak, we remain committed to ensuring your gifts continue to help suffering Christians.

Please know that you and your family's health are in my prayers during this time of uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. I understand if this situation temporarily prevents you from donating at this time, but as a friend who cares about the plight of Iraqi Christians, your renewed support would be a blessing right now — especially when FRRME America is already experiencing a severe budget crisis.

More than 2.5 million Iraqis are still homeless, with half of them children. ISIS is still launching attacks against civilians — killing as many innocent men, women, and children as possible. Anti-government protests continue across the country, accompanied by violent clashes that have already led to hundreds killed. And recent tensions between the U.S. and Iran have ratcheted up the risk of death for civilians caught in the crossfire.

And now, the deadly coronavirus has spread across Iraq following the rampant outbreak in Iran. If the virus gets into the refugee camps here, it will be disastrous.

This turmoil and bloodshed are fueling a growing food crisis that has put countless Iraqi Christians and others at risk of starvationand our budget has been stretched to the limit trying to feed these poor souls.

I believe that God is calling me to ask for your help in feeding His forgotten children facing starvation in the Middle East.

Yes Canon Jerjees, I will help you provide urgently-needed food and hope to suffering Iraqi Christians, like Enaam, persecuted by ISIS and sectarian violence. I understand you desperately need help now due to the emergency funding crisis. To feed hungry families, I’m sending my tax-deductible gift: :

Suffering Christians in Iraq and Syria desperately need the lifesaving aid you help provide. But at the same time, FRRME America is suffering a severe budget crisis. That’s why I’m praying you can help today.

  • For $24, you can provide enough food for a family of four for one month.
  • You can feed a family of four for two months for $48.
  • You can feed a family of four for three months for $72.
  • For $96, you can provide enough food to feed a family of four for four months.

With your help, our suffering brothers and sisters in refugee camps will receive emergency food packages.

Your generosity is also needed to help us continue providing monthly emergency food aid to more than 6,000 Iraqi Christian refugees in Jordan, as well as Syrian refugees and needy Jordanian Christians.

Won’t you help us purchase and distribute emergency food aid to families who are struggling to survive?

I believe God is calling on you and me to do this. Yet His call won’t be answered without your support today.

Yours in Christ,

Canon Faiz Jerjees
