////URGENT HUMANITARIAN CRISIS!!! EMERGENCY AID NEEDED NOW!!!////

Dear Friend in Christ,

If you could look into the eyes of little Sarah and the other Christian children of Iraq, it would break your heart…

… because those innocent looking eyes are hiding more pain and despair than you or I would experience in a hundred lifetimes.

Tens of thousands of Iraqi children have lost their parents — seen them slaughtered by ISIS because they were Christians or other religious minorities.

Every day, we work with children whose parents have been killed … families torn from their homes … and young girls who have survived rape and escaped sex slavery.

Every one of these stories is heart-wrenching. And they won’t stop anytime soon.

Sarah lost her father to ISIS killers and fled to Bardarash Refugee Camp in northern Iraq. More than 13,000 are crowded into this camp. Your generosity allows us to provide aid and comfort to the refugee children here, like Sarah.

YES, Canon Jerjees, I realize the humanitarian crisis in Iraq is worse than ever — especially as Christian refugees who are already suffering now face a deadly coronavirus outbreak. Your gift of:

  • $25 can buy clothing and shoes for displaced children
  • $50 can buy a food parcel for a family
  • $75 can buy urgently-needed, lifesaving medicines

You will be redirected to our secure online donation processing partner, Network for Good, to complete your donation.
These children huddle for safety as the humanitarian crisis in Iraq grows even worse than when ISIS controlled much of the country ... and the persecution of Christians remains rampant.

More than 2.5 million Iraqis are still homeless, half of them children, like Sarah. ISIS terrorists are resurging and ruthlessly killing and kidnapping as many innocent men, women, and children as possible. And recent anti-government protests left hundreds of people shot and killed in the streets.

All this, and now the deadly coronavirus has spread to Iraq following the rampant outbreak in Iran. Religious services have been cancelled. Schools are closed. The Kurdistan region shut its borders with Iran. There are still large numbers of refugees in Kurdistan, including over 250,000 from Syria and approximately 1.4 million displaced Iraqis.

And in Jordan, where your support helps care for well over 6,000 Iraqi Christian refugees, dozens have been quarantined. Refugees in Jordan are very afraid because of the large percentage of elderly and sick people among them. They believe that once the virus has spread into their communities it will be very hard to contain. There is real panic developing.

Adding to their distress is the lack of quality healthcare available to refugees in Jordan and to the people of Iraq. These suffering people are completely reliant on the health services of charitable groups — including the medical care YOU provide through your support of FRRME America.

The suffering of Iraqi Christians will get much, much worse without the immediate help of caring friends like you.

My fellow Iraqis simply can’t survive without you. They desperately IMMEDIATE need humanitarian aid, including millions of children. And that is what I am praying you can do today.

Please take action right now to help the persecuted Christians of Iraq and other deserving souls by rushing back your most generous emergency gift right away.

Your generous gift will help provide hygiene kits for families still living in refugee camps in northern Iraq. These kits contain baby diapers, soaps, toothbrushes, and other personal hygiene products to stay clean and healthy. As you can imagine, practicing social distancing and good hygiene in a crowded refugee camp to stem the spread of COVID-19 is incredibly difficult. These kits can be lifesavers.

Your donation will also mean refuges continue to receive emergency food assistance and urgently-needed medical and dental care.

And with the remaining Christians in Iraq lacking jobs, and for that reason, very little hope for long-term survival, your help is urgently needed again today to help the Christians of Iraq get back on their feet, launch businesses, and rebuild Christian communities through our Nineveh SEED program.

So many lives may depend on what we do in the coming days. Please dig deep and rush me your most generous gift today. Thank you and God bless you!

Yours in Christ,

Canon Faiz Jerjees
Chaplain, St. George’s Church
